Sky master 1/9 F 15 struts
Gday fellas,
need some info on Skymaster 1/9 F15 struts.
Any pic, dimensions and general info.
Are they oil over air, ie hydraulic. I am currently flying th Jet Legend F 15 and with our rough field the bouncy spring struts are really not up to the task. Need proper dampening.
So I need the dimensions cuz they will be retrofitted in place of the JL struts, need to know if they will fit. I believe the SM an JL F 15's are pretty much the same plane.
It's a very nice flying plane, just the struts need improving.
Any other suggestions for the struts would be appreciated.
cheers

On my old Gen 1 Skymaster F-15 I swapped out the spring struts for a set of Airpower oil dampened ones. They were excellent!!
I used one of the following for the mains:

but it will also depend on what units you are using so measure yours and make sure you get the right lengths
and heres the nose:

I used their brakes, wheels and tires as well. Great stuff.
