Default BD5J 50% from Germany

Hello,

my name is Hannes Lutzenberger and I´m from Germany.

After building a CARF Gee Bee this is my latest project, a BD5J microjet in 50%.

The kit is made by a friend of mine, Martin Sannwald from Switzerland. He is the owner of the www.swissmodelshop.ch

Here a picture when my girlfriend and I picked up the kit at Martins shop:

Thank you :-)

And NO, I will not build a special trailer for the BD5J ;-)

My first idea was to make the RED BULL color scheme, but after Guido´s tragic crash on Mai 1 this year I canceled the idea.

So, the color scheme will be the J.W. "Corkey" Fornof BD5J from the James Bond movie "Octo*****":

STEP 1 : GEAR

It´s a electric gear with brakes from BEHOTEC / Germany - perfect quality!

That Gee Bee is beautiful, and you fly it very well!

As a side note, who built the flying model of Hillary Clinton in the background of the picture above? LOL

I think it is a not-so-subtle reference to your lovely girlfriend.

Nice work on the planes, Hannes... very nice work.

Since this DB5J is made by a German, it has to be well-made and well-designed.
Even though it is 50%, it is still small, and no trailer would be needed. Should have just gone to the full sized jet and made it radio controlled.

Stick with the full sized Sarah.
