Phil
Looking good. I had a Bandit in that high vis scheme and it really looked good in the air.

I believe that it is a scale scheme on the Cougar, but not on the Panther. The most "high vis" scheme on a Panther that I could find when looking for one for mine was the "yellow tail" one used when the Panther was a target drone control aircraft.

I actually went with the Blue Angles scheme for my Panther, and actually, the silver on the top of the wing roots makes it quite visible. I still need to do the silver on the tips of the wing tanks...

well after a lot of searching I found a photo of a panther in white and orange way back in the distance on a photo, it took about 4 months searching and I found a very similar scheme which is the one I have used
.

Those are rare! I looked around for quite a bit and never found them. Thanks for sharing them.

I wish there was some detail about the top one available as I like the bright orange and it looks like an early model of the Panther. The lower one is a later model (F9F-5P ?) and the orange is darker (or faded) and not as attractive - IMHO.

Your Panther has a rudder from the Cougar. But it looks great, love the Panther.

Phil,
Your work is fantastic. I went ot your FB page and saw your stuff. Very impressive. But I could not find the Panther pics or build anywhere. What am I doing wrong? Building one right now, so would love to see some of your ideas. Thanks. Mark.

Hi mark,

the only real change I have done is put scale inboard flap hinges on. If you friend me you will be able to follow the install of all the equipment. The way I build and paint is that I install all the servo's, engine, fuel tank and landing gear, install all the control horns. It's then all removed then painted. Then the final install, the client wants a turnkey model so I will be photographing the full install.
