Very cool! What kit is it? I had a large porter from Top model that flew very well. Clay Lacy even looked it over one time and told me some stories about his full size. Would love to do a larger one with turbo prop. Looking forward to some updates.

Cool man..we did one couple years ago powered by a wren 54..very slow flyer. My friend forgot to put the wing bolts and that was the end of it.

Hey Kasper,
Don't talk smack about my buddy Thomas. Comparing his one-man business to FEJ is one bridge too far.
By the way I thought that Turbo Porter was designed for a SPT-5, not a SPT15.
Regards, Bart.

Bart...
Thomas is a nice man to talk with, thats correct.
but when you have a business YOU HAVE TO DO WHAT YOU PROMISE!
you simply dont tell that the plane is in stock and you can send right away... and then i recieve the first parts 4 months LATER!, and 7 months later i recieve the gear, and thewn i still miss the rudder, stringers, windshields which should be here soon...
and there has been stories about the package beeing lost several times,, and lalalalala... but funny enough no track and trace number...
i simply will not trust this man.
yes its designed for a SPT 5... but what TP plane issent? - the SPT 15 is all new, but i will fit, and the plane will be used as a TOW plane, for my large 1:2,2 FOX glider,, and i want it to pull vertical

Thats Markham Park in Miami. A " Interesting" place to fly. I have been there for the past three years and had allot of fun there. What it lacks in clear flying area, it makes up for in atmosphere and facilities.

Time for a update.
i have now made all formers for the fuse, incl the engine spars ect.
everything is made out of 10mm lightweight plywood. all formers are 20-25mm wide all the formers have a weight at approx. 450-500g
i have done some calculations... the SPT15 should, with a 30x16 4b solo prop at 5000rpm (engine max) a thrust of 54kg, and a airspeed of 122 kmh...
time for pictures!
<-- LOL a this?

How much ground clearance does the prop have? From the pictures it looks very narrow, and that is with a taildragger stance without a tailwheel.
