I need some tips... i am doing the setup of my F16...
I will use regular flaperon (instead of taileron)..

Slat i only get 21mm instead of the 25mm that the manual ask.. so i put 15mm 1st position and 21mm in the second.
Flaperon, if i put 75mm of flap i can't get aileron together (flaperon), i setup 25mm of flap 1st position, and 50mm in the second (both mix with slat)
Aileron.. manual ask 17mm each side.. (measure inside or outside?)
Elevator and rudder as manual.

Anybody can help me?

Well as far as the leading edge flaps and the flapperons sounds like enough to me to get it in the air no problem... Ailerons are normally measured on the inside..

Can you post a picture of your pilot in the cockpit? I'm interested in a tailormade pilot but want to make sure the fit is good...

Brian

I got this pilot from warbirdpilots.com. It's the 15" one and fits perfect, looks great. And, it was under $150 and weighs only 7 oz.

Just do not like spending ridiculous $$$ on pilots. This is a great deal and works perfect.

Rex, your pilot post came at the right time as I'm looking for one. Perfect size and great price. Wish they offered it in a red uniform. Your F-16 went together fairly quick! Hope mine does as well.

"D" this is Jimmy. My customer (Thunderbird) had to bust out and pay 325.00 british pounds to get his from Tailored pilots. It is great looking though.

Anyone have any pictures of the cockpit installation when using the operational canopy? Also curious where people are installing their vent lines?

Thanks for the heads up. I sent Tailored Made an email saying I wanted a Tbirds pilot. Still waiting to hear back.

The Tailored Made Pilot is very nice. Here are some pics of mine. It takes awhile to get one from Wilson but its worth it.

My vent lines come out in the small section between the landing gear wheel wells. Have had no issues with that location. Attached are some pics on how to cut the canopy.

21mm is fine on the slats. You could be running down onto the slat stop pin and its restricting the movement.

Are you using Taileron or standard elevator and aileron?

Thanks Craig! Is that the 1/5 scale cockpit and Tailormade 1/5 pilot? The 1/4 scale 15" warbirds pilot looks to big in my opinion. The Tailor made 1/5 is also supposed to be 15" so trying to figure out if they are different in size..
