Mike,
Yes I have one and it works very well. You will have to cut out the top corners for the LEFs that the BVM jet does not have but after that it works great. I just traced the cut out from the rear stand on to the front stand and used an electric carving knife with serrated blade to cut the foam. Worked great. The stand also works on the big Avanti with longer tubes.
I' d post a photo but can't figure out how with this new format.

Price
My hobby time is so limited that when I do get some time, I would rather be working on the jet than a stand for it.

So I'm excited to say that I will be starting on the F-16 this weekend. Its only been sitting since January
Any tips or updates that I need to know about? (Nose Door Info) I have already carbon wrapped the intake and removed all the paint off the tail cone for repaint as it was not correct.
Here is a run down of components:
Jeti, CB200 with 3 R3's
Jeti 7.4 5200 packs X2
Jeti M-Bar
MKS HV777 servos for surfaces MKS HV1220 for steering and canopy operation
Ultra precision UP3 for gear/doors, MKS HV747
Jetronic brake valve
Jetronic speed brakes
Jetronic Canopy locks
Kingtech 310
Thanks in advance for the info...

Hello people,
I need help. I'm riding an F-16 1/5 of SM, and I'm thinking of putting either a Jetcat 220RXI or a K-310.
Has anyone ridden with any of these turbines? If it is with a 220 it will have a good power to fly with the bombs and missiles installed in the wings due to the drag that they produce.
Thank you
Bruno

Bruno,
I've seen the SM 1/5 F-16 fly with everything from a 200 to a 400 turbine. I personally use a B300F. I would recommend a K-310 from the two you mentioned especially if you hang all the stuff on the wings. If you put a lot of stuff on this jet like pilot, smoke, lights, ordinance etc, it will be heavy and the extra thrust is nice to have for take off, go around, and vertical climb from slow flight. It is not needed to go fast. You can do that with any turbine but the smaller the turbine the more fuel it will use. The larger turbine will not be running very hard during normal cruise and your fuel use will be the same or lower than with a smaller turbine. You may not need all the capacity that is provided with the 3 tanks. Knowing what I know now I would reduce the center tank capacity to 1/2 to avoid carrying the extra fuel weight.
Lots more info about your question is here:

Good luck with your F-16. Post photos for us.

Thanks Gary, for the quick response. I was thinking of putting a K-310 even, I really wanted a Feed Back from someone with experience. My original duct that came in the kit is for a JetCentral Mammot. Should I use the K-310 I have to change the duct to a larger one?

Burno,
You may be able to use the 200N size pipe OK but internal pressure, temps, and exhaust velocity will be higher. I am using the SM 300N pipe. I wanted more low speed static thrust and was advised the larger pipe would be better for that. It seems to work well so far. However the larger exit diameter will not allow use of the stock AB LED light ring. Also the one I got was slightly long and I had to trim it on both ends to get it to fit in.

Bruno,
I dont know how that would work. You better get someone smarter that me about thrust tube pipes to answer that one. I just know my SM 300N pipe works well with my B300F in the F-16.

Hi Guys,
My F16 also coming along fast now that I have little more time after finishing some other projects...
It is the IAF F16 from Sqaudron 110 "Knights of the North". tail no. 364.
I have installed the LE servos, tail servos, fuel cells flow vents in place (BVM high flow)
I am using the full Unilight lighting system, including a double ring afterburner... should by something..
I took out the SM lighting set, it is no good - low quality with poor wiring and replaced it with the unilight system, not finished yet.
Here are some pics of the progress.
Cheers,
Ziv

Wings - weathearing and missile racks.
first picture - left wing is before the weathering process, right - after. you can see the diference..
All hard points for the missile racks are factory installed - well done Anton and SM. Instalation was easy enough and easiliy removable in the field.

Wow Ziv, That looks great! Can you make a list of the Unilights that you purchased to complete this task? I have been thinking of removing the Skymaster lighting in mine as well. Also what are you using for the weathering?
Thanks in advance...

Hi DP,
I bought the Unilight Scale package for the F16 1:5 size, PRO pack. It includes all that is needed for this plane, and replaces everything. Some mods are required but I can walk you through.
As for the AB ring - It is a double ring for P300 exhaust pipe. Just drop an email to Ulrich at Unilight and he will know what you need.
As for the weathering I use Tamiya acrylic paint, just smear it over the wing diluted in some water (but not too much) and then wipe of the excess, and water-sand it with a 800 grit sanding sponge. I will try to post some more pics later.
Cheers,
Ziv
