Might consider this jet. Would be awesome to fly an F-16 this size, that's lighter than my 1:6...

Yea, I sought info from BVM on this…Patty and Dustin tried to get some intel...took two weeks of trying, for them to get no info out of SM so I dropped it as my next project and moved on. Maybe it will come out this year sometime…hopefully!

Please don't make it squat in the back. I can't stand that.

Scott,

Agree. But this is not scale LG. It is F104 LG installed in 1/5 F16, because LG still in development. Likai will design a VERY scale 1/5 F16 LG that will make F16 "sit" correct. The 1/6 is also not "sitting" correct and very low compare to the full size...

I figured it was not the production gear but just wanted to emphasize that the correct stance is a very important scale feature not to overlook. The smaller sizes all squatted and it drives me nuts! Hate to see a nice model ruined with squatty stance. No one has done it correctly so far except Scale-Jets.
Looking forward to seeing it completed! Looks as if it is being adequately tested as the F14 was!

Very nice. Is that a 3D-printed prototype?

Anton, watch teh forward angle on the nose strut, it seems too much. Main wheels are deffinetely looking more true to scale than previous versions, but nose wheel is tiny.

The forward angle of nose strut and wheel size are measured from a full scale F-16.
The forward angle is 20 degree and wheel size is 457mm (91mm in 1/5 model). The tire will reach 91mm when inflated.

here are pictures for Likai checked the LG of F-16 full scale

it does have a forward sweep but it still looks exaggerated. Could be an illusion becasue the wheel is too small or the fact the the strut was modeled in the fully extended position.

I want another F-16, and I might be able to afford the jet but will have to wait a few years and save up for the gear Any ball park estimate on what the kit may cost with everything?
