Hi,

I will be booking a 20 foot ocean freight container shortly to ship a few crates from Florida to Europe (Copenhagen or Hamburg). There will be plenty of free space, so I am looking to share that.

If anyone need a plane shipped from the US to Europe, let me know so we can work out the details and cost. This will be way cheaper than individual shipping.

Note. Plane must be fully crated and built. No kits (Import duty issue). "Used" planes can be imported tax and duty free.

Could be interested but the UK guidelines state the following (and you can guarantee the age/condition is always going to mean duty is due!!)

3.2 Is duty charged on used goods?
Used goods are still liable to the same duty and VAT charges as if they were new. However, this may vary depending on their age and condition

I've shipped several planes and have never been charged duty on "used" models. Must vary from country to country. Just pick the plane up from mainland Europe and bring it home to the UK by car

If you want to ship to germany...

use harmonize code 8022000 is free of Import Tax.... if this is not working take the harmonize code for scale reduced model 95030030 also free... no matter is Kit, Flight ready or whatever..... The 80..... is better cause it also works for Parts of planes....
