Default A new Chinese Jet manufacturer? “ Xtreme ARF”, not to be confused with X-Treme Jets

Has anyone seen the new Xtreme ARF web site?

http://xtremearf.com/

Looks like a start up company and it appears that they are running a survey to give away a 1/3.4 Scale Viper Jet on Jan 2, 2014.

There are 14 questions on the survey pertaining to what products that modelers would like to see be developed and brought to the market.

I took a chance and filled it out, who knows maybe I could win

Looka like that viper is $2800 from rchobbystore (wagner), a bit steep IMO for a company with no history

The photos of the actual model airframes look identical to the ones on the Feibao Homepage (F-100 and F-16)

I was looking again at the the web site and it appears that the Viper with all accessories is $4195 as compared to the Skymaster at $4644, so it is a good deal for nearly the same size aircraft.
It also appears that they are coming out with a large Hawk in the beggining of 2014.

I took the survey. Don't expect to win anything but maybe more surprising is that I haven't been spammed by them either.

I asked for a couple of prices. The reply was professional with proper English. I gave them advice like come up with a good assembly manual, test fly before releasing the model, did I say test fly? and do everything opposite to FEJ.

That is very sound advise, I don't think any company should want to emulate the "Other" brand of Jets you mentioned.

I hope that this new company will listen to its customers.

Is it just me or would others like to see more of the rare 50's era jets being modeled?

50's Era and some smaller aircraft. I love large aircraft but everything is large except for the 3-4 same aircraft over and over. I would love to see a twin 60-80 size T-37 or A-6. Small T-33, FJ-4, Harrier without the VTOL.

I guess the cost of the 'prize' kit is being picked up by Wagner or someone US based??

I don't think so, have you seen the new thread that Wagner started, in it Wagner has stated that he is a dealer for XTREME ARF... so I think Schroedm has hit the nail on the head.
