Do a search on RCU for Fly Eagle & the problems people have with their products, then make up your own mind.

Yes, I did....

But I would like to hear the opinion of the owners....who here has this plane....tell me the pros and cons

The viper that I can buy was built for one of the best persons here...the plane looks ok...but is always good to hear another experiences

Best Regards

You read about all the problems... not shipping parts, lack of customer support, surface flutter, tails falling off and you're still considering buying a FEJ plane? Wow.

I would say its difficult for someone new to get informed. It seems that RCU covers up all the FEJ problems.

I don't own one... but as the guys above are saying, there are way too many problems with that companies jets to buy one. With the other options out there... I couldn't buy one. Even if you get it cheap... you can kill a lot of $$$ in the loss of the other parts.

I would assume that the reason it only has 5 flights, and is for sale, is because the current owner wants out of it before there is an issue.

Just my 2 cents.... take it for what it's worth.

If this is true, why FEJ are still in the market ? I just saw a topic here FEJ F-18 and why everybody is saying congrats for the plane ???

If all the FEJ are crap I really don´t undesrtand why people still buy them....because we can see a lot of them in the fields, videos ,forums etc

I´m not here defending FEJ, ( I never own a FEJ ) , just trying to understand

Best Regards

Who knows why FEJ is still around. Maybe their operating costs are low and they can remain solvent even as sales decline.

As far as I know, a lot less people are buying FEJ now than a year ago, which is when the new round of problems surfaced.

The F-18 thread is from 2009! There are still some people who bought the airframe years ago and are trying to figure out how to make it airworthy.

It's always the same group of people that saw the same things about Fly Eagle because they heard from someone who heard from someone....etc....

Nothing changes in the jet forums. No moderators moderate.....

But what about those of us who've built several of them, fixed several of them, seen the outrageously shoddy construction first-hand and witnessed plenty of suspicious crashes first-hand?

hello i personally owned and flew and won 2 awards with my fly eagle viper s flown with cheetah
it was the first viper s vodaphone paint scheme ever
i started the trend with this paint scheme still waiting for painting rights checks lol

i loved this airplane it was not honey comb
i did all maneuvers that this jet could do held knife edge more than 1000 fight at 10 feet off ground very strong

this jet is currently on r c u for sale from nevada i sold it a wile back
i would love to buy it back but i have moved on to 36 lbs or higher

love the big jets
i believe fly eagle to have more issues with their full stab models and not this type of sport jet
i would buy it again definitely

There you go! A satisfied FEJ customer who seems like he flew the crap outta one!

Change the trend man! Get us to buy FEJ again!

Just 'cause I won't, doesn't mean others won't!

Hi
I have own 2 Fej F16 1/8 scale. In small scales Fej maybe, just maybe be aceptable. I will not buy from fej again
If you want an opinion from a previous owner, i will give you my reasons
Gear made with sub standard aluminium, poor machining and leaks
Poor engineering and understanding in g forces in the frame. Sub standard wood in the formers. Cracks developed in the wings after some flights
Poor cockpit
0 service and stand up for customer
This is what happened to a friends f16
Www.fufej.com
What ever your decison may be, good luck
Regards
Nuno
