Default Badass eye candy

Jet buds,

Extra fuel is onboard, and the door locking mechanism is installed and complete. I wish I could post a video of this airplane in action. It would make you all smile. Happy holidays, and a Happy, safe new year to you all.

Help what?!? Don't look at them then. I posted from my phone. When I open them the orientation is fine. I've typed and deleted responses to you 5 times,so I'm just going to say, have a nice day.

Did it not occur to you that you can rotate a phone but it is a bit difficult to rotate a computer screen. You made a post suggesting that there was something good to look at and all I saw was half a pic each on its side. Eye Candy that is not. No need to get so stressed but if you do then you also don't need to read this

Hey Joe,

I hope you are well. It's actually by my bud Dan Davidson, goes by SplitS on here. Everything he touches turns to platinum. Amazing painter/craftsman,and one of the nicest people I've ever met.

I hope you can get out this way in 14 for one of our events. They've grown and evolved pretty well. Afterburner 1st weekend in August,Giant 2 weeks later, and the Jet Jam in October. Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.

Back at ya my friend. Hope to see you out there more in 14 also! We just put 108 linear ft of pavilions behind the flight line to keep you and your jets shady! Now you can feel more comfortable hanging around with shady characters such as myself.

Wow, awesome!! When did that happen Erik? Santa came early to Farview!!

All the best to you and Robin and the rest of the gang! Happy holidays!

And seeing as today is the 24th....

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the workshop
Not a creature was stirring or sanding, the work had all stopped.
The jets were hung from the ceiling with care,
In hopes that new Turbines soon would hang there.

The R/C jet addicts nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of BVM Bandits danced in their heads.
And envisioning slow rolls wearing sunglasses and a cap,
Settled our brains with a loop or a snap.

When out on the airfield there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see if it was servo chatter.
Away to the window I flew like a Viper,
Tripped and fell down, as if shot by a sniper.

Dazed and confused I looked out at the snow,
The lustre from landing lights illuminated below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature aircraft it looked like a Lear.

With a little old driver, so lively and fit,
I was sure he had gained his turbine waiver, and quick!
More rapid than Kingtech's his coursers they came,
And he hooted & holl’rd calling them names!
“Now Jetcat! now Bobcat! now Pushrod and Carbon!
On, C-ARF! On, Mig! on Electra and Aileron!

To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Powerbox, iGyro, Avoid it you all!”
As scale Hornets and Sabres fly,
So nimble and graceful when they mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
A load full Jet goodies, and St Nicholas too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The wheels slowing up, good thing the brakes are lockproof.
As I shook my head in complete and total skepticism ,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a new A-7.

He was dressed in a flight suit, from his head to his shoe,
They were covered logos for BVM, Robart and Dreamworks too.
A bundle of R/C gear flung on his back,
Cool stuff like at Toledo, I wanted his pack.

His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His fingers glued together drawn up like a bow,
A little CA debonder will help them let go.

The end of an x-acto knife held tight in his teeth,
One little sneeze and it would stab something beneath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly!

He was chubby and plump, an R/C jet pilot or elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, he was shaped like myself!
A wink of his eye and a Euro 3D in his hand,
He could really fly well and knew how to land.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
Filling stockings with servos and parts, how berserk!
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!
He jumped to his jet and shouted “ALL CLEAR”,
Then starting the turbine he took to the air.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
“Happy Christmas to all, I’m Flying R/C jets tonight!”

Taildragger,

Thanks! Don't let him piss you off. Not worth it,and it's Christmas. He's the same tool that asked me why I don't build my own jets in a different thread. I refuse to engage in the negativity at all anymore. Happy, safe holidays,

Erik

That is a very badass paint job. You might consider posting that in your own thread on the giant scale forum. Happy Holidays.
