Default Feibao F 18 a/c

Many whises flying boys for the new year , I hope this is the correct section to post my question.
I bought an used Feibao F 18 a/c, but I don't have the instruction manual and I can't know where is the CG control excursion ect ect .
I make a research on the net, but I find only contrastant informations especially about the CG and Feibao factory don't reply my emails.
I'll be grat if any of you has the instruction manual or can say me where is the correct CG.
Thank you in advance.

Fabrizio

Thank you wa75tl for your link, do you think F and A/C versions have the same settings?

NO!!!!

Let me see if I can find the skymaster/jet legend links.

On my 18c's (skymaster and jet legend) the CG was on the leading edge of the front wing spar.

Don't forget to use ALOT of flap for take off or it will "hop" off the tarmac!

Try this:

And yes, it will be the same as your Fei-Bao.

Congrats on getting the "C"! It was, in my opinion, the best flying Hornet!

I flew the bug , the right way to rotate is by applying up elevator from start of takeoff roll and ease off the presure the second the bug start to rotate , this procedure in basic will always give you nice and smooth climb outs . Flap help the proces a lot . Also would recomend on placing spacing block under the nose retract flanges of 10~15mm ( about 1/2") to get a somewhat positive pitch atitude of the wing that will help taking off too.

Good luck and happy new year :-)

As stated buy ravill..CG location is on the leading edge of the front wing spar (for maiden).. but over the years I found that putting the CG exactly on the main spar without any nose down tendency, gives it the best AOA landings and without any back pressure on take off.
