Default Behotec 220 mount

Hi All

Has someone mounted a Behotec 220 in a Ulta Bandit?

If so what strap system did you use.

Probably the jetcat 180rx mount as the 220 is about the same size as the jc 180.

depends which bypass you intend to use. If you are fitting the 220 in a Jetcat 200/AMT Olympus bypass then you might find the cast mounting T's are not long enough. If it's the small engine bypass you have then the 160-180 straps should work fine.

Yes I have had a P200sx in the model with that bypass so do you think the 180 straps would work?

I think the 180 straps would work, but 200SX straps are really easy to shorten. It's only Staybrite low temp silver solder they put the nuts on with so assuming you have some Staybrite then it's a 10 min job. You need to see if the cast T's you have will reach. If they are too short as I suspect, then you could extend them with some 3mm aluminium plates.

I will be really interested to hear how the UB performs compared to the 200SX. I also have a UB with a 200SX which I'll fly soon and a Airworld F-100 with a 200SX so if there is an improvement to be had I might think about doing it.

The Behotec 220 is the same size and weight as the Behotec 180.
