Default F20 Tigershark question

Hello to all...

first... sorry for my english...

I have a question... about an F20...

What is the exact Wingspan and Fuselagelenght? I have a plastic kit... when I take messures on this, the wingspan is not correct I think...

Lets say someone would build an F20 in Composite... a bit scale... say about 1:4,8... only thinking... the fuselage lenght would be some arround 3 Meter when you scale up the plastic kit... fuselage is 3 meter... wingspan only 1,6 meter.... I think it should be some arround 1,78 meter... Hmmmmm a bit confused I am right or the plastic kit is right...
And an other question: What airfoil would you use for the Wings??? Some full symetric or some non symetric??

Only asking some stupid questions... to make me a bit smarter.. Thank you for your answerers.

Michael

Wing area: 200 ft² (18.6 m²)
Empty weight: 13,150 lb (5,964 kg)

Hello Square Nozzle,

yes, I checked also Wikipedia, and I am still confused about the Plastic kit is right....

The wingspan is not corret on the one I have...

So I will go for an scale from 1:4,8 so the:

Lenght: 47 ft 4 in (14,4 M) : 4,8 = 3,000 m
Wingspan: 27 ft 11.9 in / 8.53 m; with wingtip missiles (26 ft 8 in/ 8.13 m; without wingtip missiles) : 4,8 = 1,78 m with missilies or 1,69 m but never 1,60 m like the Plastic kit... and this one is 1,6 m with the missile holders.. for the Wingfoil I also have a good idea, I will take an MH 43 for the wing....

Sounds good to me, thank you for your Help. I have to do some drawings....
