Default New paint job, am I done?

Hey guys I have been bust my (You know) to restore my old CAI Razor I got from a good frieand localy.

It came with a AMT 180 air start, but I just installed a rebuilted Jet Cat P80 bumped up to 21 pounds vs my 17 pound AMT it should really step things up, Ready to fly weight is around 22 pounds with fuel.

Anyways, I have made a few post stressing over how I should paint this sexy jet. Well I took some clues from a few jets I liked.

But I feel like its not done, like it needs something eles. But I don't want to over do it,

What do you guys think? Is she done?

Or add some white pin stripping?

I was thinking of adding some decals but In not sure what would look nice. (I was thinking of trying to get the Jolly Wreches from "Planes movie") I did take some pictures of the stock Razor scripted. Any ideals

Thanks for your inputs..

Thanks Mike

I know that old CAI stuff was a little on the heavy side, but I didn't know 12 ton jack stands were a requirement?

Just kidding, looks good.

Very nice!!

If you come up with a scalable graphic... I can cut a few for you. I was thinking about the jolly wrench's for my own models. (email me)

Looks very nice but some white car trim between the colours would really set it off.

Looks great. What kind of set up do you use to paint? And what kind of paint? Is that single stage? Looks like the silver turned out nice.

I usually add simple panel lines, that seems to add a lot.

Im $$ challenged.

Its rustolum 2X can spray paint. Its great thick and only used 1 can for each color

Sprayed primer sand with 400grit, then sprayed the whole jet red, with this paint you should give it 24 hours to dry between colors. Wich is the hardest part. If you don't it some times crinkles.

I always use the 3m 1\16 pin stripe tape for racer thin line and easy of tapping.

Just dont do the 80s paint job that was on mine. Lol. Its a great flyer and now I got the lighter P80 pumped to 21 pounds vs the real heavy AMT 180. I cant wate.

I have Centry jet models nose gear that came with it. They were 1/4in at the strut. To small for the grass and damage the nose

So I sent it back in for a 3/8 upgrade big difference

Also be careful mine had 4v only jr servos in the ali and rudder
