HI GUYS,
Great news, we have some new sponsors this year.

Like always will have RCHS in Stafford TX. Bucky has always come through with something good,

New this year will have MKS Servos, Thomas Cooke will be coming out, he will have some displays and will bring out some pilot prizes.

Also new, Dreamworks Model Products, Todd & Linda sent me a large box full of goodies for all the pilots.

THANKS to all the sponsors.

Thanks
Robert Bernal

Wow, that was fast Bob.
1 month to build that thing without the extra work package. Impressive...
We'll sure catch up on these days. I am planning to get to Scobee to put some flights together with my eScorpion on Saturday, the 22nd. Let me know what is your plan...

Bob how is your F-18? Jack Holland is building some replacement F-18 1/6 stabs for me, he is almost done with them, I think I have done as much as I can on this f-18 reinforced everything I can think off. Now about the only thing that could fail is the darn wings... can't really fix those.

Im not happy with downnlock, dont have power to pull up the nose gear, have sent it in several time without a resolution.
less than two years old, still under warranty and got charged every time it got sent in.
also the nose gear motor broke on me once at Waco Jet Rally. thankfully it broke on the ground.

If u come up with some thing that works on this large gear, please let me know.

Thanks
Robert

crap thats what I thought, I'm looking at 1 of 2 things:

1) New electron er-50evo (but these need to be reversible or they need to have a reverse version
2) Airtech retracts, they have large bore 4mm retracts, very tuff, shockwave jet uses them
3) Dreamworks retracts, they have some electric Hercules we'll see if they work.

I can tell you my experiment with hydraulics failed miserably, Not sure going on with the stock retracts but it BARELY has enough umph to lift 1 gear much less the other, the pump just stalls out and starts cooking itself. This is the UMS conversion sold by hobby king. ALSO the main valve leaks so that is pretty much a write off.

1 good thing the stock retracts themselves don't leak.
