I'm going with a Merlin 200 for my Eurosport. Will the C-ARF pipe be sufficient or should I replace it?

Maidened my Euro today with a KT 160. Flew fantastic and vertical was more than what I expected. Pics to follow.

My stock pipe with a Kingtech 210 is holding up fine. With all that power i dont use full throttle that much .

I have to say the Eurosport has grown to become my favorite jet. It's dose it all slow flight, big presence. Great takeoff in grass. And almost lands it's self. I added some fuel pods for a cool look.

My only gripe is the glass is real thin and I got cracks from turning it over all the time. Added carbonfiber tow to these areas and it's great. I'm thinking this winter it may be due for a complete repaint in a different Skeem

AM I MISSING SOMETHING............ currently on the engine install on my Eurosport, fitting a Jetcat 180 rxi, now the issue I'm having is I can't get the turbine in once the thrust pipe is in as that can't be pushed back past the three tabs, to get it out of the way, my Eurosport is the later version so the bottom hatch does not go all the way to the back, so the thrust pipe cannot be fitted after the engine install, been banging my head on this one, help !!!!!!

About to order a new different thrust pipe to over come issue..

Quick photo just after I'd resprayed it, done as a tribute scheme to Hawker Typhoons squadrons, also all decals now been added.

I Managed to get mine in with angling the engine a little sideways when going in past the pipe. I think i might have even done it without the engine mount attached. Then installed the mount on the engine afterwards. I like your colour scheme. Hope to see it in person some time.

Looks awesome Laurie. Looking forward to seeing it at CJ. If I bring mine I bet we'll have at least 3 for some formation flying.

Won't be bringing mine, I have to give this CJ a miss due to work commitments.

I've attached a couple of photos of the rear of the turbine mounting rails on my Eurosport. Is anyone else's like this?

It may be intentional but it's not how I would have glued them in

I've just also noticed that the front of the rails are simply butt jointed to the former (albeit with a bit of glass cloth) so I'm going to remove the rails and put them back in correctly.

I'm finally getting back to this after being distracted with other projects.

Before I rip out the turbine rails I thought I'd check one last time to see if anyone else has turbine rails like mine (shown in the photo above). It doesn't look right but it also doesn't look like it has been built like that by accident.

Thanks very much. I'll probably do the same.

I'm a bit surprised that they didn't change their former templates if they wanted to change the thrust line; it won't be very strong as supplied.

What are your impressions? Would a K210 be OK?

210 is perfect for 3D and standard equipment, if you build it really light a 180 will do the job just fine..
