Ok FB your absolutely correct ,and we did balance the yak with the gear down ,I just used the opportunity while the plane was suspended to test the gear and it looked so nice hanging there , as if in flight, that decided to snap a pic! That's all, then I dropped the wheels and set it down....job done ,..here's another angle

Hi guys,

A few questions:

- Is there a build thread for this jet anywhere?
- How do I make contact with JetLegend - as it seem the Australian dealer website is no longer operational?

Thanks for your help.

Starrjet, Thanks for the info, I was just wondering and thought maybe you knew something I didnt. Thanks for the update, its a really nice looking jet and I myself thought about getting one. From the looks of it you would think it would be a great relaxing jet to fly! Good luck with it and let us know how it flies.

I3dm. Unfortunately no today is not the big day. I have engine trouble. .last evening with everything ready to go I decided to run both JC 140rx ,s at home and one fired up ok and as I was watching waiting for the second motor to fire , a puff of smoke appeared from the ECU and the lights went out. ...I can find no reason for it so it will have to be. Sent back to Jetcat , since it's holiday weekend it won't leave till Tuesday so it will be at least aweek delay...........Murphy's law!

Has anyone flown the YAK in the US yet?. Mine has arrived but needs to be put together first. Curious how it handles with all the ordnance in flight?

Laucel is your aiplane a twin or a single ? mine is a twin and the CG as marked on the fuse was about an inch too far forward. I balanced mine on the mark and then added 4OZ of lead too the nose and I needed full down trim to hold level flight I only went one lap and put it down straight away, needed more weight in the nose and I already had four batteries up front.. I started off with level elevators at take off and the Yak just took off by itself without any input of elevator and immediately needed down trim lots of it then the rain came and that ended the day PM me if you want more info ..Malcolm
