Wow great selection - and a pulse jet too

Skunkz if you wanted I could always make you one with the label in a different position - next time just email me with details, might take a couple of weeks as a special but doable.

I'm afraid the install doesn't do it justice but I love my CATs.

Hi Marc

Just received 2 CAT's 130 for my MIBO A10.
Very nice product.
I have 6mm clear Festo tubing but have a problem to get it on the big fittings

Is there a trick I must know or is this tubing not the good one ?

Thank you for your help

....with hot water, not an open flame. Boil some water, then put the end of the tube in it for a minute or so, then push it over the barb. Be careful the tubing will be hot, don't burn yourself - use a piece of cloth when you push it one. Afterwards add safety wire and all will be good.

Cheers,

Jan

Qustion here,

On my next project with 140 size turbine i would install the 260 CAT for some extra fuel reserve.
But doing so will the CAT lose it's function as an bubble tarp? Because of an to big size for the turbine or is it smart thinking using the 260?

Cheers,

Ed

@ Jan, i always use an cigaret lighter to warm up the hose, just go by it with the lighter very rapidly and for only 1 or 2 sec. and it works fine. And indeed use the wire.

Ed, No it will still perform as a CAT but does give you extra margin on the fuel front - you should not however plan to use the CAT fuel in general but it is an emergency. The CAT sizes are also designed to supply around 30 seconds of fuel supply at full throttle (dependant on turbine naturally) before they reach a point where the air starts to get drawn into fuel supply.

The bores on the CAT fittings are designed to be large to avoid restrictions and resulting cavitation problems, warming the fuel tube at the end and pre-stretching it a little by pushing the end of a pencil in it while warm will evenly enlarge the end enough to go over the barbs. 8mm OD Tygon fits without warming as a note.

Mark,

Here's the CAT that I got from you last summer at the JWM in Switzerland. It's tucked into a BVM Rafale on the left side just forward of the hatch. Great product you've got there; CATs are standard equipment for me now.

Regards,

Jim
