Thanks guys.
I'd love to see some pictures Wim, I'm always amazed at how a few scale details transforms the way a model looks. Glad you like them
Cheers, Alex

Guys did you have any problems communicating with SM? Im about to pull my hair out over a simple color change? Now they think I want a totally different scheme, I made it easy and told them to use the colors from one of there other jets on my aggressor scheme. They still wanted paint chips for a scheme that was on their website. I have been working with Eric Clapp and he understands what I want its just hard to get the point across. They have gotten confused now they think I want the scheme from the jet we showed with the right colors, when all I wanted was one color changed. I wanted the dark aggressor blue changed to a lighter blue like the real color, any suggestions on a easy way to tell them what you would like? I know Alex did a custom scheme, how did you communicate what you needed?
I sent them paint codes and on my Avanti for a teal green color as well, it ended up just green. So I really want to get this one right

Fender, I agree, sometimes it's a little hard getting your point across....must be a language thing....
i'd send them a picture of the sceme you want, and point arrows a the area's where you want a different color, with Ral or Pantone color ID's.... kind of "paint by numbers", lol......

Hey guys what do you think would be a min range on torq per servos for the leading edge slat? I have a some 278oz torq sbus servos I would like to use, I think they will work just fine but opinions are always good. Thanks

I'll have a look at what I used for you, can't remember off hand. I think they are BLS 173SV which are nearly twice the torque of what SM recommend. Your 278oz servos will be more than enough.
All the vents and louvers on the Skymaster F14 will now be faithfully reproduced to emulate the full-size. Just starting to fit the first one.

Its been a while... but progress is still being made we're in no rush to get it finished as I'm working to the clients schedule so its a nice relaxing build that can be fitted in and around our other projects.
All the vents have been made, designed in Solidworks, 3d printed using SLA then finished by hand.
