Hey Dan, is that mounted on your Viper? Have mounted a couple of camera's on my viper and can't tell much difference when flying. Am going to try a double mount, one forward and one aft if it ever gets nice and the burn bans in Oklahoma go away. Should be fun seeing forward and aft with the smoke on.
Great looking flying site -- love the long runway.

Yes on the bottom of the CARF Viper between the tail fins. I just took the box's mount, cut it to fit between the fins, and only used 6 servo hex top screws. I tested it on the first flight with the camera's plastic hard case to make sure it wouldn't come off, then the second flight, which is posted now, with the camera in the clear hard plastic container mount.

Sounds good. On mine I am just using the Gopro Velcro mount. Have one under fuse and one for a smaller camera under one stab. I was worried about it at first but had several flights on my Ultra Flash with it mounted like that and it didn't fall off -- and the flash is lots faster.

I am now setting up a Blade QX 350 with gimbal to try at the field.

Yes! I was also shocked that it would stay on the jet too. The Viper is only about 175, so, as you said not as fast as the Flash. I actually miss my Flash. The Flash would do more aerobatics, including a Blender. The Viper won't, and I have tried with even higher rates. I didn't use any glue or double sided tape, just 6 screws into the bottom of the jet.

Here is a video looking aft from between the rear lower fins on a CARF Viper. I like the forward view better.

I just ordered the Mobius as it looks to me to be a better shape to fix to a jet. My Go pro will be used for other things and FPV

Thanks Kenrico! Yes, I am starting to really like my GoPro. I have tried other small video camera's with not much success. The Field is in Cape Coral, Florida. On March 15-16th, the SeaHawks are sponsoring Gathering of the Giants. VERY Jet friendly event and field.

Here is the link to the event:

The 10:
Running a Gopro and Sony HDR, I find the Sony produces a more natural colour balance, and the profile is a lot better aero wise.
