Default ECU lipo batteries

Rigging new jet, curious what brand and switch arrangements individuals are using for ECU lipos?

I've used Thunderpower, Voltz and even Turnigy. The only ones that have EVER failed me are thunderpower's.

2s 2200-2500 milliamps. I'll do 2-3 flights on a charge depending on end flight voltage.

No switch. TurboSmart turbo reg.

Zippy or Rhino, 1450 mAh (for gas start engines). Like Ravill the only brands I've had fail were
the expensive, big name brands.

No switch, just plug in the connector to power up. I use Anderson Power Pole connectors.

Everyone has an opinion...
I have used Thunderpower and JetCat's batteries for years, and the only failures have been with the JetCat batteries.

Flew my 2006 Classic Flash today...2006 Thunderpower batteries onboard...perfect condition after all these years. Handling and charging is a big part. Luck is involved.

I always put something like a 4000mah +/- onboard so that I never have to charge during the day.

The older Thunder powers are outstanding! Too bad you can not get any of those now days, Light, no need for balancing and underrated "C" capabilities

I agree, but only the Pro Power 30c have disappointed me...they were not great. I'm using the latest 70c G8 in my Spark and hammering them for a season, still all good.
