Where are your drop tanks?!

Great takeoff and landing!

BV NEEDS to make this an ARF. I've heard that he can't keep this airframe on his shelves, but he'd make a killing if it was an ARF.

No way Raf… I think the BVM Huns are perfect just as they are, as kits.

Constructing one is really only a “moderately” difficult building task, which could be done by most anyone who has a bit more experience than assembling ARFs. There are a few tricky bits, but nothing unsurmountable. Especially given the brilliant support from BVM and all the other “Hun” owners who are more than willing to help out..

When you have done the hard yards and finish the thing, you are rewarded with a completely unique aircraft, finished to your own standards. And to top it off, the BVM Hun is one of the best performing scale jet available!!

If this kit becomes an ARF, it will become just another bland consumer item. As a builders kit, it gives us a challenge, something to step up to, after we have done all the ARFs.

Paul,

Looks really nice. Which engine did you choose for this model?

Rog,

We will have to agree to disagree.

You can keep building the kit if you so desire! Shoot BV should keep the kit available for those that want to.

My biggest pet peeve is painting, I don't have the patience to paint and hence I must pay for that impatience.

I'm enjoying the Hun build. I enjoy building. That said, BV's ARF's are no arf's by ANY means, but more like "painted" kits. That's what I want. And I bet BV would sell EVEN more of them!

I think its more like he DOESN'T keep them on the shelves - i.e., he makes them when you order them. The F-100 (I prefer the "F" myself) is a fantastic model, but at $8000+ "Go Fly" (actually, "Go Build"), I don't think they are selling faster than they can be made...

Bob, I was at BV's shop last year and he told me it was their best selling kit and they where behind in deliveries because of the demand of a good kit over a so so arf.
