The "liquor [is] up front" and "poker [is] in the rear". Ok - I think I understand.

Well this was my first turbine jet show. It was a 4 hour drive both ways.

My family had fun. Our only complaint was they put all those huge banners in front of the flight line so hardly any spectators could see the landings ) my fav part..

I never realized how big some of these jets are

My question was the noon show with the 3 F22 blew me away. As I have been looking for a new scale jet and I could not believe how fast these jets were. Anyone know whos kit they are?

I can only seem to find Yellow and CJM that make the f22 and they Re almost the exact same size

Anyone eles make these f22

The only f22 you can get now is the jet legend. I know for a fact one of the ones you saw was Gunradds yellow f22. They are no longer being produced. I sold mine a few months back, kinda kicking myself incredibly good flying jet. Good luck finding one.

I heard Lewis was talking about a specific individual creating politics etc at his rally last year at the awards banquet. Really dude?? I guess some people just don't know when to keep their mouths shut. I hate to say it but the only politics created last year was by Lewis himself. After Lewis refused to listen to sound judgement on the fly eagle stab failure on the large Hawk he went off on my very close friend in front of me and in front of several people in attendance. After that happened I couldn't justify going to KY jets again. That along with the bogus bid situation on the new hawk where Lewis decided to bid on his own show deal (with false bidders driving up the price for him) and win a jet he was promoting to everyone as an attraction to his rally was the last straw for me.

I hear that the attendance was down from the 190 last year. Heard it was around 160. I've also heard from new attendees who where there complaining about political ramblings going on this year. This is the kind of thing that destroys rallies. Lewis, I thought you were my friend. I found out later where your loyalty lies.

Good luck next year.

Guys we have a lot of great video from this event, the first video will be up on YouTube Wednesday, as of now I am still in Kentucky. The Jackknife was very fast and sliced through the air with the greatest of ease. The weather was simply amazing, although it is a little windy right now. Jets Over Kentucky lived up to it's name as the World's Grandest Jet Event.

I see fei Bao still has the 22 on its site which was originally a skymaster product. I own one and they do fly great (the flap, aileron version)

Bob ...I can't remember his last name. He had the UPS DC-10 and the 707. I think he won it for the 707

Just got back home and wanted to thank Lewis and especially the whole crew who work tirelessly in front and behind the scenes so that we can enjoy this hobby. It was great pitting with the Texas boys, and hanging with George, Jonathon and his better halfJohanna discussing the "flight picture" lol. It was a fantastic event and some really nice things were done for some very deserving people. Can't wait for 2015.

Jeff, it was a DC-8, not a 707. Both those models were fantastic!

Just home and finally unloaded. Great 5 days at JOK, Lewis you are to be congratulated again for a fine job and I can't imagine the work that goes into preparation. Martin the flight line boss was fantastic as was Keith's cooking. You have a great bunch of guys helping put on this rally. After all the things going on both day and night during the week it looked like a ghost town this morning.
Already made reservations for next year and I advise anybody coming to JOK 2015 to reserve rooms asap. lol.

Thanks again for a great Jet rally

Got home early this morning, left last night after the banquet, all I can say is Lewis you did it again! What a great event that just keeps getting better.
I was especially moved by the outpouring of generosity that was bestowed on Marvin, it truely shows that all of us are one big family! Marvin truley deserved it for his tireless efforts on the hot and noisy flight line, thank godness he steped up to the plate to run a tight ship!

Keith, as usual your Friday night barbeque was second to none and congratulation on being the winning bidder for the New Fei Bao Dolphin.
in talking with Catherin and Andy from Fei Bao they communicated that they enjoyed the week at JOK and they plan on coming back next year.

Once again, Thanks Lewis for all of your efforts.
