Default "Ambulance collapsable stretcher" for large jets

Anyone ever try this? I plan on going with a large model soon & this seems like it may be a good way to transport it without the need for a 2nd person. I've never used one, but it would appear you could strap your jet to it on the ground, then elevate it, roll to your van/trailer, hook the front wheels then collapse & roll it in. Maybe you could get an ambulance with it

Come to think of it an old ambulance or hearse would be a good vehicle to transport model planes.

I think that a hearse would make an outstanding airplane hauler. Giant doors on the side and rear, rollers built into the floor to allow for a pull out bench. Have some Gravedigger type art airbrushed on the side.....my wife says I am weird for wanting one to haul planes in....she also says that I am disturbed since I want to be stuffed and set in the corner of the room looking at everyone when I die....

About 15 years ago we had a guy in the club that had an ambulance for an airplane hauler. At our Giant scale event that year (Monster Mash), when ever any one crashed, he would make an emergency run onto the field with the siren blaring to pick up the survivors er I mean the pieces. It was funny as He!!..................

Retired Paramedic here; you'll need two people to operate that thing,it's an older one and not a tricked out like the new stuff....

Paramedic here as well. They are MUCH heavier than you will expect. Not practical at all without two people to operate it.
