Default Joe Grice's Fltie Metal tutorial.

Hello Guys,

Joe has put together a nice tutorial on how to work with Flite Metal.
It is located here in the jets building techniques section:

http://www.ultimate-jets.net/blogs/j...ing-techniques

Also as a reminder, you'll find some useful technical articles there like what type of hysol glue to use for a given job, how to cut clean hole in composite laminates, how to protect your servo loom from fire/ jet blast/ heat...

If you have any comments on any of these techniques or if you want to add an article, don't hesistate to contact me.

Oli, do you know if there is a special name for the stencil he is using to draw panels, or a particular job/industry that uses it? The square/rectangular ones that I can find have right angle corners rather than the rounded corners on Joe's stencil.

Hello Harrry,
These are used in drafting/drawing plans for construction. The particular one in the photo is for drawing furniture onto plans/blueprints.You should be able to find them in an Art Supply Store .
Cheers,
Joe Grice
