Default !! Flite-metal needed !!

Does anyone have any Flitemetal that they can part with?
I need some to finish a job.
I cannot get in touch with Ed at flitemetal !! Been trying like crazy for the last week to get in touch with him.

Thanks,
Derrick

Flitemetal question.......I've seen the burnt metal effect on a lot of BVM F-100's. My question is, is it really necessary to have a metallic sheet (such as this) to make that effect? or is it more of an airbursh technique with the right colors?

I want to paint an F-16 exhaust with this, and was wondering if it would just be better to paint the turkey fetahers with a metallic finish as a base vs applying the flitemetal sheet.

Thanks,
David

I was going to paint my f100 but the flite metal is much more realistic looking...just my opinion.
I would use metal for that part ....it is easy to work with and if it's thin enough cuts easy with a pair of scissors.

There is also the option of going with Metalmorphing. Less hassle, no orange peel, dents , scratches, and weighs a lot less also. .. granted, its a process that cant be done by yourself, but the detail and finish can.

I thought about metalmorphing.
I have actually done small parts myself...works good.
However just decided on flite metal this time.
What's the price for an BVM f100?
Thanks
Derrick
