I would like to say thank you to Larry, Robert and everyone else who made sure I was doing ok as this was a painful event for me. As I was dealing with the kidney stones all week and having to fly back and forth for my sons graduation. Also big thanks for the award it was a very nice suprise.

Unfortunately I'm back in the hospital as my first surgery last Monday right befor the event did not remove all the stones and I still have a 5mm and 2mm so the pain continues on. I think I'm going back to surgery today again.

Once again thanks to all for everything.

Youre a tough dude Jose ! Again,,,,thats just one of the reasons you earned the Top Gun award.
You put family first, toughed through the pain to support FIF, and lets not forget the outstanding flying you demonstrated with the awesome Hawker Hunter. Your takes off's were great ( i loved the heavy take off) , You flew prototypical of the plane, and you nailed those landings every time. You Jose ARE a Top Gun!
Hope to see you again soon. Now,,,,,get well !!!!

The weather couldn't have been better.
I was so happy to win the Jackie Sacks custom wing bags too! I guess I'll have to quit saying I never win anything, LOL.
And lastly, congratulations to my buddy and Global Jet teammate, Jose Melendez, on winning the Top Gun trophy.
Paul
Paul, thanks for the praise. And we know you'll love the Jaqui Sacks! Jose's award should have read "hard charger".. TOUGH!

Here is a couple of pictures of Hawk corner . The Goshawk was Chris from Oh. Really nice bird.

Jeff, your Hawks looked and flew great. And we'll ask mother nature to ease off on the thermostat a bit next year...

Larry, the photos will keep coming for a few weeks since our photographer (John Romero) took thousands! And our crack work force set a clean up world record on Monday!

We look forward to flying with you at FiF 2015.
