Guys bring your speedy gonzalez electrics and your night flyers.. too for the "down time"..
Woohoo! It's gonna be a blast. SK looking forward to it. The metal morph 86 is tuned in baby. It flys great. Jim McEwen completely gutted her for me and we re-installed all components and did some UNREAL mods that allows us to take the intake out without removing the turbine. I did the re-maiden in Tuscon and I'm tellin you it flys better than it ever has. We are ready for Top Gun.

I'm looking forward to having a cigar with Ron. I missed him last year at the other rally.

Here is Andy's "Skittles" Rafale and it's documentation. Can you tell the difference? There is no difference!!!! Also shown is my two-tone grey Rafale, which is known as "The Grey Poupon" another fine product of France.

Andy, LP, and I are thrilled to be attending Jets Over the Heartland and expect that it will become an annual event for us. The marg machine and King Gong will be there to as Tim has some special flying activities planned for Friday early evening.

Regards,

Jim

Andy pm Tim for tent rental info.

It sounds like between you and Jim you'll need a tent of your own!

See you soon.

Since I'm flying there not driving, I'll be traveling light. Will either bring the Mixed Reaction or the Grey Poupon (Rafale). Uncle Joe got some great shots this weekend of practicing for Top Gun.

Default A bit of history

1999 EVENT REPORT
37 Registered Pilots! 55 Aircraft!
11 Turbines-44 Ducted Fans!
This surpassed last year's numbers and thrilled the largest audience of spectators, who turned out for all three days of flying! This has become THE BIGGEST EVENT in our history! Even with a "gusty breeze", the pilots put on a terrific show of expertise!! Winamac Aero Modelers sincerely thank all of the pilots, sponsors, audience, spotters, and volunteers who made the event THE GREATEST EVER!!

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO Brad Long and Ed Kirtly from Bowling Green, KY. they were kind enough to quit practicing and help get the field ready even thought they were guests.
We look forward to seeing all of you next year!!!
Thanks once AGAIN!!

I was just out there flying with Timmy yesterday on (Saturday 6/7/14 ) and the field is in great shape.

Tim is really putting in the efforts to get the field prepped for this event so that everyone will really enjoy themselves !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope we get to see a bunch of people back at this event as it is one of the most fun and relaxing jet rallys that there has been for many years running.

This is the only event where you can fly a jet from sun up to sun down with out any hassles.

Then there is also the night flying under the lights after hours for those that just can't get enough during the day. So don't forget to bring out your night flying foamies size does not matter.

There will also be a friday and saturday night dinner that is going to be prepared by our good friend Ron Ballard from Wren Turbines USA.
