MS Afterburner was my first rally too. It's always going to be my favorite jet rally. Everyone is very friendly and laid back. The food is exceptional and it's flying pretty much from dusk to dawn. Also the facilities are off the hook nice. It's got real tradition and you will always find someone to help you if you need assistance with anything. I think between Vernon, David and Dennis there is over 100 years of jet experience!
The bottom line is that this has always been the season opener for me and it holds a special place in my heart when it comes to jets. You will love it!

ps Vernon... no word on Johnnie this year. I'm driving down and immediately driving to Florida for Top Gun. I couldn't stand missing another year! Johnnie might drive down on her own for a few days though.

don't forget the scrambled eggs and sausage. Speaking of food, quess who's been making ice cream? It pays to be the chef...unlimited taste testing of the vanilla with blueberries and the vanilla with chocolate chips and pecans. One more batch. May be pralines and cream or vanilla with strawberries. Any preference?
