Default Looking for a new ride.

I'm parting with my trusty boomerang intro. and i wanted to get into something scale. i was wondering how you guys felt about a f-15 or f-16 . i prefer the 16 but i'll be flying off grass a lot at different meets and i was afraid the grass runways would beet up the gear to much. I'm also looking for a good used airframe of some kind that will take up to a 36 pounder. thanks for the advice ahead of time. WB_1

About 34 dry..the jet don't need a 40# of thrust engine..my friend have the same jet with smoke and flew it with a P-120sx.

Warbrid_1, there are many videos of Skymaster F-16's flying off grass. They seem to perform very well. Their landing gear is top notch......really beefed up. I would not hessitate getting one for grass field operations, if that was your concern.
F-15's tend to be easier to fly, and easier on the eye. Really good fliers too.

Good luck on your quest!

Check out the new bvm f-16. I just ordered one and will use a k140 in it. I fly almost exclusively off grass and the light weight of is airframe had a real appeal to me. We have a number of them up here now so if you make it out to hamburg I'm sure you'll see one or more of them.

Now this is the way an f-16 should be flown . Not the yank and back flight with the 100mph landings https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlShftOM0x8
