Default Texas Jets - Mt. Pleasant TX - May 15-17

The Northeast Texas RC Club will hold their annual jet rally in Mt. Pleasant TX. The facility is a great venue with plenty of open area with smooth overruns. Plenty of covered area. You can come as early as you like and stay late.
Jet fuel available at the airport, 3 miles.
Most will be staying at the Candlewood Suites which is the closet hotel to the field. 5 miles. Can Dawn at Midway Travel for reservations. 972-264-4288.
There will be raffle of a KingTech K-80, Thanks to Barry for your support.
Call Gus Hudson for any info you may need. 903-243-1776

Andy. That's the one

It is a date change. Since Austin is not having a jet event this year, my suggestion to Gus was to use that time slot and hopefully it will be little cooler than the June date

Smoking hole. I will never forget that. That scared the crap out of me. Candlewood is next to Chilis. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone. Maybe the weather will be cooler this year. Danno I hope that you can make it this year and I'm glad the Okla boys will be showing up again. Andy, be sure and bring the family.

Go south on 271 out of Mt. Pleasant. Once you pass Home Depot, turn right at the first traffic light, FM 3417, go approx 2 miles, turn left at the Bob Sandlin Lake sign and the flying field is on that road.

The road is Fort Sherman Dam Rd. There is usually someone at the field during the week. At least during nice weather and always on the weekend. No puppy chow for me.
