Texas Jets - Mt. Pleasant TX - May 15-17

My apologies if I mispelled names..Correct me if I am wrong!
I want to thank everyone for coming down, this was another successful event. Also, thanks to all the club members who assisted us in getting the event ready.
It was nice to see some familiar faces, and meet some new ones.
After burning about 10 gallons of kero, and logging about 15 flights, I can easily say, I'm tired...
See you folks around!

What a great event. This was the most fun I have ever had a jet meet and the most flying. Between the Viper and Flash I logged 12 flights per day and wow was it ever fun. I don't thing you can find a better bunch of people to share your addiction with. The Mt Pleasant gang are just the best. You can bet guys from Tulsa will be back.

I really appreciate everyone who attended the event. We had a great time and I hope that you did too. I also appreciate all of the club members that helped out before, during and after the event. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you again soon.

This was my first jet event. I could not have asked for a better experience. Very laid back, low key event. Great guys! Saw what I think will be my next jet, the CARF Viper. And lastly, have to thank my mentor, Don Perry, for all the support and encouragement for the past year.

Oh, I learned one more thing. Don't shoot a BAKED potato straight up from a potato gun. It rained shredded potato for a few seconds. My black Elite Aerosports T-shirt among a few other things had white specks all over it . Sorry about that Pablo. I washed potato out of my hair before bed.

Bob-o is our new designated chef. From potato salad, to bake potato snow, he does it all. Coming to a jet rally near you!!
I'm still trying to figure out a way to mount a Go Pro on the barrel. That'd be a pretty awesome video.

Bob-0 is the man for potato guns. I wonder what he will shoot out of it next. Maybe a small furry animal.
Dan, we missed you this year. I hope that you will put it on your schedule next year.
Again, thanks to all who came this year. I hope that everyone had a good time and a safe trip home.

Well these aren't the best vids but some I took with my phone.
I will edit and post the Quad cam aerial footage next week.
I always enjoy Texas Jets and it was MUCH nicer having this earlier in the year.
