Default Coming Soon KAI T50 by:Xtreme ARF and UsaRcJets

Hi all, This will be a new Large scale jet coming to the scene soon!!
Should have a prototype in 6 months or so. Here are the specs for the T-50:

We would like to have a list of the customers interested in the T50, there is no obligation in buy it and no money upfront will be asked, but the first 20 customers in the list, that decided to buy it after all testing, will have a pre-sale discount.
Thank you Billy D "UsaRcJets" and Team Xtreme ARF
It will be 1/5 scale Fuse = 2680 mm (105.5 inches) Wings span = 1890 mm (74.41 inches) We are working to have this plane's weight less than 20Kg (44 Lb) ready to fly.

I liked the idea for a new jet model not done before from any other brand, also she is a beauty.

Billy,

Any chance it will come apart in the middle for those of us who only have an 8' trailer?

If you cover the nose the tail of the A/C looks like an f-16, cool jet though

If you read " A little about history" at the website http://xtremearf.com/index.php/planes/projects/kai-t50 you will understand why this jet looks like the F16 also the joint venture that develop this jet has Lockheed Martin as partner.

I like it too, it is interesting and relatively simple. I do like the difference in the gear compared to the F16, looks like a bigger drive unit on the gear although I am not sure.

The size is good for me too, not too small. Hope it goes well, I will follow.

Dave

Dave,

You've got this right, the landing gear are well different, the T50 looks like more elaborated than the F16 it has 2 shock absorb, take a look at the photos, left is F16 LG and right the T50, now the nose gear does not rotate when retract.

Nice to see something different. Would be more interested in a reasonably price A-6 Intruder.

The T-50 is 100% designed by Lockheed Fort Worth. KAI was handed over the design to be manufactured in Korea. They own the design. The T-50 has a very nice cockpit, perfect trainer for newer digital cockpits.
I hope they win T-X and we repalce our T-38's with the T-50's.

To make them more scale we decided that the T50 will be shipped with electric landing gear.
