Just noticed something the main strut and retracts are different, did you take off the oil filled shock absorber? Also be sure to tighten the wheels on my jacknife maiden both of them rolled off the rim , had to belly land in the grass with gear up.

Thx for your swift respond Pablo!

I belived that was "cheating"? :-) I do need å gyro on my little L39 whilst full flaps and onfinal! It swags its tail as a happy boxer! :-P

Then, no suitable Futaba gyro; 3-axis s-bus?

Enjoyed watching Azza Stephens put some miles on his Shockwave at the Southern Model Show this weekend in the UK.

HI all, started my Shockwave build, I think a good builder could do the build in 70 hours.
Some pics of the stab and fin, I used a yellow plastic nirod to feed the wires through, also made a paper template of the inside stab, servo locations, and transfered it then outside to mark the slots. All servo slots have to be opened up for 8711 servos.

More pics. A wing channel for servo and tubing would have made the install neeter and faster.

Thats not the quality you would expect on a $9000.00 airframe.

This was an early kit. Mill files have been changed for 8911
Many changes have been made to new kits.

Well, between work and flying when the weather permitted, I was able to finish up my new Shockwave. I hope to maiden it soon.

Congrats! Looks great! I think I'll be the last person in the universe to finish my Shockwave! I'm almost done.

Can you order the plane without a cockpit? This plane has a few appealing qualities over the UB.

My maiden day went very well. Got in two good flights. Need to do some minor changes to some programming, so I called it a day to get the changes made.
Thanks to Scott Marr, Pablo Fernadez and also for all the photos that Jimmy Garcia posted. This is going to be a fun jet to fly.

My Shockwave is finally done! Behotec 220 for power. I am using Futaba brushless servos, Tam pipe, and Tam nozzle. Maiden after Thanksgiving.
