Default Team Kingtech and topgun

Had a great time but the rain really put a damper on the fun. Frank and crew did a great job and the runway and facility was even better then Florida jets a few months ago.

Kingtech was the only turbine manufacture in attendance. We had spare engines for our competitors in case they where needed but it turns out all the kingtechs ran flawless and we ended up helping out some pilots that had engine problems make the switch to Kingtech engines and keep them flying. It was nice to see all the great pilots now using the Kingtechs. Peter Goldsmith refit a K140 in his panther between rounds and was back in the air just in time and didn't miss a beat.

The other guys need to step up their game. Kingtech is slaying 'em.

You know , I have to applaud them for doing that. Standing up to the mark and backing their customers, not that they seem to have needed much backing it seems.Top marks Kingtech.

I called Barry this weekend with an issue and he answered. That alone is just great. He's always helpful and friendly. My issued ended up being a vent issue not a turbine issue but he told me to send if I needed to.

They put out a good product and back it up with great service. You would think this would be considered rocket science to other manufacturers when it's really that simple. I'm happy with my third Kingtech turbine.

I too made the switch to Kingtech for my Top Gun Model. My T-33 had previously been powered by another brand 180. I lost a round last year and had another flight that ended up with the turbine going into a ecu lock out which caused the turbine to stick at 55000 rpm. I was super lucky that it did not cost me my most valuable model! A change over to a K180 saw us retain the team scale first place spot this year. All done on a turbine that had not even been started pre this event. Faultless operations across the entire week. I am already sold on the KT brand, but my team member, and world class builder Graeme Mears was new to the brand. To say he was impressed would be an understatement! Keep up the good work guys. I am proud to be onboard.

Thank you for all the support guys, had a fun time at top gun, will be there again next year, congrats on your big wins Ali, and a big thanks to Kris for all his support and collaboration. George, we probably needed to pick up that F-16/Sea Dart conversion kit from your trailer

Cheers,
Barry

Yes, a 210 is on the horizon. Same physical size as your K180 if you want to mock a project up in advance.

Barry, I'm not interested in your discount model.

Can I just get the regular "non-Ali" K-210?

Just teasing you Ali.

I own five kingtechs... many have gone over the 50hour mark with no problems except for one. kingtech send out a replacement engine with no questions asked.. I will always buy from then again. Cant wait for a turbo prop and I hope for a 300n engine soon...
