Miguel the CG is located 280mm aft of the front turbine hatch recess, you can find this information on the manual that accompany the jet, look at page 16/18.

Wagner:

OMG. . .my F-100 is stunning ! You and your paint staff took the pictures of a plastic model I sent, reviewed them and created a masterpiece. I look forward to taking this out of the box! Pack it carefully, then check it twice!

Jet Central USA is proud to be your newest dealer. The F-100 will appear at Jet meets soon. . .again, thank you !

Wagner,

How many of these have been delivered to the US, so far? Also waiting to hear feedback/see build threads from other owners.

Wagner posted that Fei Bao is one of Xtreme ARF's contractors a long time ago....

So it still amazes me that everyone is looking for flight reports on this airframe, it has been around for a while.

The Xtreme ARF models are constructed using the Fei Bao molds, all internals (formers etc) are to Xtreme ARF specifications using the composite materiel that Xtreme ARF identified...

Reports that I have gotten re the few that have flown in the US, are that they are experiencing LG issues similar to FEJ. ie: It doesn't work.

I'd like to hear from PREACHAMES and DBLONGHOFER. Both reported they had received their kits back in January. What's the status guys?

Hello David,
Thank you for the clarification, the F100 gear are the ones supplied by Fei Bao, I know that Billy solved his gear retraction issues by adding a second valve to increase the available air.
One was on the mains and one for the nose.

Additionally Wagner posed a thread about some gear modifications for the ones in the field.

I don't know if this part of the issue or not, but, I hope they find out where SkyMaster sources their aluminum, and then do the same. There really isn't anything much more frustrating flying jets than to spend your day trying to get your retracts to work properly!

Hey David,

I flew my F100 at Florida Jets each day...it is on this year's video.

I'm using a UP2 valve to sequence the retracts & fuselage gear doors...worked like a champ on my test stand, but the air flow valve adjustment for "gear up"was screwed in too far. The gear doors attached to the main struts are angled out a bit & created a little too much wind resistance after takeoff for the main gear to retract.

This has been resolved by unscrewing the valve adjustment screw. Much more authority as the main units are being retracted!

Really enjoy the jet & look forward to flying it next week at First In Flight then Kentucky Jets & Super Jets South in Georgia.

David, the LG problems was solved giving more air to the cylinder as Rich and Greg Hames states but it had other issues that was identified by Greg Arnett and was solved as explained on my thread F100 updates and warnings link post by Rich, one of the problems was located on the scissor connection, it was connected using a "C" clip and if you land a little hard the clip used to pop off and make the lower part of the struts rotate making the wheels goes at 90 degrees, this was solved replacing the "C" clip for a bolt and nut, the other was the strut piston travel that was retained by the scissors lock this was solved as you can see in the video at the F100 update thread.
Answering your other question, in USA there are about 10 F100, actually I have one ready to go in the box waiting for a pilot

David, there is no issue in the aluminum that is used on the LG they are CNC from aviation grade aluminum.

Greg,
Glad to hear you've found success! Are you using separate valves for nose and main lg?

Let's hear more detail on your overall experience with the kit.
How much does yours weigh, what powerplant?
There are a number of us still waiting to hear more from the field b4 moving ahead with this jet.

Wagner,
Nice flight video! Do you know how much it weighed?
David S
