Default Yellow F-15 Maiden

New to jets, so no one here in the jet forum knows me but anyway I bought this F-15 off of Rob Puetz (F-15Driver). It has a Jetcat P-120 and I use a Futaba 10C with a Smart Fly PowerExpander Micro-14F and A123 batteries. I've been practicing with a BVM Bobcat since late last year and have 25 hours on the Bobcat so far.

Thanks to Ed Valls for the video and the assistance given by Steve Dimaio who is a BVM rep.

Luke

Excellent! The Randolph Aux Field is a nice place to fly! Only went out a handful of times while here at Lackland AFB.

Nice job! I love my YA F-15, I have a 140 in mine and that's overkill, the 120 is a perfect match! Enjoy her!

Thanks guys! I like sport jets, but scale really does it for me, I just love the way this thing handles, especially on landing. You wouldn't think with how heavy it feels that it could float in like that, really cool!

If anyone is in the area please contact me if you would like to fly, that includes you also Nick!

That's right RAF! But thanks for the offer Luke. For the next 39 days till we leave, no time for flying.....crazy busy. Cheers buddy, and keep the wings level :-)

California don't need another turbine flyer!

Sherlock, I've seen your Byron F-15, very impressive but it's not as scale as the Yellow Aircraft version. The Yellow is 84" long and needs an 18-28 lb turbine. The ARF has a lot of scale features at a good price.

Still having a blast with this plane, been adding detail and doing some adjustments, like moving the turbine further forward. Also did lots of painting, removed the incorrect tail letters and squadron insignia and replaced it with decals I printed out on my printer.

Really sorry to learn these birds are no longer made.

The video I a bit self indulgent, but that is what this hobby is all about! I love using the air brake, I can come in with a much higher throttle setting of at least 50%, that makes for very quick throttle response for the flair, kind of missed it in this video but I had to do it all in one take.
