Very nice Anton. I looks like it has more vertical than the K60TP.

yes, the K100TP very powerful. we used the 24x24 / 5 blades prop. the rpm are 140000/7500(prop) in the air.,

That is an incredibly powerful and fun to watch aircraft with the K100 Turboprop. I love them with any powerplant but it was neat to see with the 100 as well. Smokes like a freight train during power up and start on diesel! Thanks for posting.

Good day All.

I test flew my PC 21 this weekend and it flies like a dream. Anton and Skymaster team this is a great aircraft, flies so realistic and had to do no trimming at all. only mixed in a bit of down elevator in when flaps are deployed. Power plant is non other that the King pt60tp with a 24 x23,5 five blade. Radio Futaba 18MZ, air system is airpower sequencer and failsafe. I did three flights and enjoyed every moment. Last one I flew for 7mins and still had a 1/4 tank left. Attached are some pics and will try up load a video or two. Thanks to all that helped with info and questions.
Have a great day.
Regards
JB

PS. I need to get a new spinner, the CNC cut one as mine is out of balance.

Good day Michael,

Attached some pictures of inside the fuse. I kept it simple no power box as that I feel is an overkill. I put as much stuff forward and did not have to add any nose weight. In fact I am a bit nose heavy and it will balance out nicely once the smoke tank and pump are fitted. This plane flies so well and I really enjoy flying it.

Have a great day and let me know if you need more pictures.

Regards

JB

Michael.

The set up and CG do it according to the Skymaster manual as they have it spot-on. I put in about 25%expo on Ailerons and elevator and 35% on Rudder, The nose wheel I put 45% expo on and she is very smooth in the sky. Take off I use about 10mm of flap and landing is 38mm as per manual. When taking off she will quite happily lift off at half throttle and I only use full power for vertical climb when flying. Also every flight I have found the turbine to be running better and get a 8 min flight in with a 1/4 tank left when landing. I am going to mod the gear doors cause the live hinge they have in is to weak and the door is very big. I thought of cutting the door down and just having the section where the leg is open and close and fix the other sections in place. I have asked Skymaster if there is a gear door mod but all the emails I send to them I don't get replies on and that's my only Hassel I had so far. I have a Skymaster A10 warthog, F4 phantom and a MB 339 and the MB has over 200 flights on and am currently repaying her. I enjoy the quality of these kits and they all fly very well. I would like to add a F104 to my collection still. LOL. If you need more information just give me a shout.

Have a great day.

Regards

JB

Hey JB,

Skymaster did send out some carbon fiber clothe to reinforce the main gear doors and some additional links to attach the doors to the struts.
Any flight video available?

Thanks for the info Dave, but I have sent a few emails to Skymaster and also ordering a new spinner and nothing has come of it. I find it strange as I have few Skymaster jets. I have even sent them photos to upload for there web page and not one of my jets made. LOL. I will try upload a video or two, also not the best Quality.

Have a great day regards

JB

Ps Found this of the maiden and the chap had it as PC 9 and not PC 21. On the maiden there was quite a strong crosswind and with one of the doors fouling up I elected to fly with wheels out. Also after maiden I added 45%expo on the nose wheel steering and you will see why. LOL Hop it works

Hi Michael,

I recommend installing everything as far forward as you can. My installation has everything but the ecu battery forward of the fuel tank. I didn't have to add any additional weight to hit the cg. I used the recommended cg from Skymaster and it seems to be correct. I did not install the smoke tank. I have been flying for 6 minutes and I'm landing with 1/2 tank of fuel. The K60-TP is every efficient. I did remove the main gear doors to prevent them from being ripped off when flying from a grass field. You will love the way this plane flies.

Regarding the rudder servo set up guys, i recommend you cut further the wooden mount to allow the servo to come closer to the exit of fins skin.
This will allow you to use a closer hole on the servo arm to the servo gear providing better resolution of movement (maximum end points) and no loss of torque. The aileron servos can be elevated with a few washers too to achieve the same .
