Early Summer Oc-Turbo Fest
It’s that time of year again for the early Summer Oil Creek Flyers OC-Turbo Fest.
As usual we will be there on Friday for anyone wanting to come early with the main day on Saturday.
Location is the Titusville Municipal Airport which is located in beautiful Northwestern Pennsylvania.
Titusville is located equidistant from Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo
The airport features a 4900 x 75 foot paved runway with generous clear over fly areas.
Jet A is available on site AMA and Turbine waivers are required.
This is a Jet Flyer's event, no noon time shows, just plenty of all out jet flying.
Donation is $15.00

Hey All,
Things are looking good at the airport. No crack available for anyone! The Airport crew has a new patch and roller system, working pretty good. Camping will be available as usual, with limited power and water. I am trying to get there on Thurs night so I can be bright eyed as usual on Fri morn. My new Elan is ready with a new P-140 in it, and Yes it SNAPS! Can do it in an even shorter distance now. Doesn't lack in the vertical either! Hope all can make it, always a good time.
Giving my Mig 21 a test this weekend. Congrats to Scott Miller and Jim McQuen for their Top Gun competions.

Also... if you are coming out... let me know. I have a small quiet generator I can throw in the truck, so you can charge on the flight line. (old Yamaha briefcase style)

Hey Guys,
I have the keys to the Jet A pump and all the fuel you want. The Airport appriciates you buying fuel from them.
There can be power for charging run to the flight line, it needs about a 150 feet of cord. The cracks have been filled and look really good. There is plenty of room for a long line of pop up tents at the Pits. The only thing we have been asked is NOT to Spill any fuel on the tarmac. Please bring your taxi tanks and keep them hooked up.
We welcome newcomers and spectators. If you need a waiver, give me a call and we can set that up. Please bring your AMA cards.
Call me with any questions. 814-392-5097

Tony I won't be able to make the event. I know you wanted to see the perceptor in person. I made four more flight this past saturday and the model flies beautifully!
I did a calculation for a 44 install using the wren pipe and a 40 ounce tank. The empty weight would be just over 8.5 lbs
