Default Help please from JR DMSS users!

My JR RG1131B DMSS receiver is doing something strange. Normally when bound the two LEDs in the main Rx are on continuously as well as the one in the satellite. I was intending to maiden a newly built jet today but for some reason the centre light in the main Rx now continues to flash rapidly (the other one in the Rx and the one in the sat are on continuously as normal). Otherwise the receiver appears to be functioning properly in every way, but I can’t find any reference in any of the JR documentation to what it means when a single LED flashes. I have tried rebinding, swapping satellites and sat leads, servos connected and not connected and nothing makes a difference.

Any ideas what is going on?

If it does not go solid after rebinding, it has an internal fault. When binding you don't have the Tx too close to the Model/Rx?
At the Long Marston show tomorrow, so no further answers till tomorrow night.
