Airworld 1/4 scale F104 !

Sounds good Al I was thinking going the light route but with the Next Gen of 24kg turbine which should be out at the end of the year, same size and weight as a JB220. Once its flown I'll start adding bits...

I have one on order as well and was planning a Jetcat P-300 in mine. There are so many scale details that can be added, and it sure looks like it can handle the weight. This will probably be a pretty popular jet, so I'd imagine the Details4Scale will have a selection of goodies ready at some point.

I cannot believe the short take off distance on the maiden and how nice it seems to fly with so small of wings LOL great job should be a winner for anyone who buys one.

Its not just that fact it flies that well with the scale wing span ( Short ) Thats impressive. It is also that it uses a scale wing section! ( Super thin )

Tell Joe. This kit will be the therapy that he needs from the century fighter one digit away from the 104 ! Thanks Lowell!
Now if only we could find someone with good shipping links. I am sure that I could convince Trond to bring it to Best in the west!!! Thanks Lowell. Nothing more relaxing than playing with awesome jets !
Regards Al

Ali, I wish there was a good shipping company for it. He could "park" it at my hanger!! I will look into though...you never know what I might come up with!
Joe said he has one "of those" almost ready to fly. No finish work on it yet. As for the 104's, I think your right! He hasn't stopped talking about it since your photos. He did say the first thing you need to figure out is what you want...next is how to get it! We're working on it!
Be safe and see you in October.

What a Super Fantastic model!!! The video in post 14 was just amazing! I Couldn't believe how little runway he used to get airborn and then again to land on such a short grass field?... Shocking. On his downwind and crosswind, I thought they slowed the video.. but it was just the plane flying that slowly.. Wow!
I would love to have one of these large scale models some day... but for now Im pulling my Avonds F-104 down from the classifieds. Thanks for the inspiration
