Man, what were they thinking when they came up with that paint scheme? Closest thing to a "low rider" in jet form.

Just in fun/kidding,

Hi Ali

I see on the Airworld web site they don't have the F104 in their price list, do you perhaps have a price list for the kit and accessories?

Regards

Icepilot,

Great video. I am totally amazed at how much smoke most of those jets produce. Do you have any idea what systems and smoke oil they were using?

Thanks,

Jan

Hi Jan - they are using regualr smoke pumps like Jetcat and Sullivan, the secret is the smoke oil that is produced locally by 2 of the members of our club,
it's the best smoke oil I have ever seen. Unfortunately, they keep it - a secret!

Hi, This afterburner is a super powerful one with many, many LED's.. I think something like 54 individual lights ! It was made by a man in Germany who as far as I am aware ( I was told by my builder ) No longer makes them.

Hi, now that Alex and Trond have given us a guide line as to what we need to look forward as we build, it would be great for everyone building the Airworld F-104 to post some build tips and pictures or start a new build thread. I should receive mine in about 8 weeks

Thanks to all

Hi all

I did finish the F 104 from Airworld 1:4 and maidened a couple of weeks ago. The wheels are very crushed with or without full tank. Is there a supplier for foam rubber wheels or istn't it an issue for you guys?
How did you handle the "flat tires"?

The Skymaster wheels are pneumatic with a valve...Any hints are highly welcome.

Thanks

Emanuel

Hello

I maiden my F104 a couple of weeks ago and here is the video. Not much support on this forum regarding the building as it seems, almost every owner is charging the build to others. Plane flew beautifully with just 3 clicks of trim and CG is spot on. Drag chute yet to be tested

Emanuel, in fact Dubro tires are quite soft, but when you charge the suspension and move the plane forward, the camber angle will change and will get better. You can try 6" Robart tires that are a bit tougher
