Default SM F-14 Tomcat

I've ordered my Tomcat some time ago, and I'm still waiting for it to be delivered, has run into some delay because of a backlog on the actuators.

Now, I'd like to hear some more feedback from guys who already have theirs, and who have actually flown them........anybody??

Two (2) of them flying at our local club. One of them being flown by Michel from Jetsrc http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-j...tomcat-39.html

Very stable plane in the air and he has even landed with the wings back without a problem.

Bothe of the planes have been updated to the all metal actuators.

hmmm I was told to expect around 11 weeks, is that because of the extra stuff you requested? Its normally not a big deal but I am trying to work somethings showing up right after I get home so I have time to get them built and flown before the 2015 season kicks off

I was told 12 weeks.......I don't think I requested something out of the ordinary, just the extra nose-art... and telling from the pictures, they didn't paint what I requested..... I'll be taking that up with John... I do hope to get it before the end of this month....... The delay messed up my planning as well, I don't think I'll find the time to get it built, and in the air before the end of this year... :-((

Jan

I wonder if they realise that not answering emails from the customers is the first step on the road towards being like that other company. They didn't talk to the customers, then the design/build quality went and then the customers went, but not before waking up and sinking the company on the forums.

A simple reply to an email is not that hard usually. If they are too busy with orders, get someone to help John out. Everyone has the same thing to say these days, why doesn't John at Skymaster reply to emails. It's a worry John and Anton!!!

Thats the same scheme I have coming. Please post more pics once you receive it! Luckily, I am in no hurry, it will go straight to storage when I get it. I'm a few years away from having the time to build it.

John sent me a picture this morning of the right side of the nose cone:

the other side will be repainted with this nose art as well.. came out véry fine!!!!

on a side note, I have always gotten replies from both John and Anton, so I am very pleased with the customer service of Skymaster. This plane has taken longer than expected, but I understand the circumstances, and I want it to be perfect.
