I like the thought of using your TX to control the motor

What size battery are you using for your turbine?

Im using a 3s life pack. It's odd as my 180s use 2s lipo
1. just bored it out to 3mm shaft.
2. Yes.
3. Im thinking 3S Lipo 2200mAh-4000mAh.

Bennie from AMT told me the ECU is fine up to 15V. thats why i went with a Lipo 3S 11.1V.
To be honest a Life 9.9V pack should be fine as well, a bit on the low side (voltage wise) as a 9.6V Nicad goes up to about 12V when full...

Dan and I just ordered that Life pack. I guess your right 3s dose sound like a better idea. I haven't flown my AMT 450 yet. I have started a few times. Thanks

Well said...Bennie and Anita are excellent to deal with,., they have serviced both my Olympus kero start and my Pegasus. My Pegasus got damaged in shipment back to me, and they repaired it without question.

Also, it pulls my UB thru the air with authority at less than half throttle. Awesome engine!

They may be slightly heavier and lil more expensive, but AMT Netherlands makes one hell of a Turbine.
