Locked and loaded!
On tues/weds there was the biggest sand/dust storm I've ever seen at buttonwillow!
We set up our enclosed easy-up for storage!
We did some night flying carnage!
And ofcourse, I had a blast with all the homies!
Joe C is a host of first magnitude. Thank you Joe for putting up such a great meet up!

Sorry, T, you got there too late Wednesday! Had them earlier!
Joe, Nancy, Todd Burley, BARKS club, and Dave Shoffner and John Haley, thank you so much for such a great event and fun. Night combat will never be the same! Of course Dave and John's cooking is as always - AMAZING! Thanks to all and can't wait for next year.

A big thanks to Joe C. and the BARKS club for putting on a fantastic event, had a really great time, got to meet up with a lot of new friends and put names to their faces.
Also had to stop at Malibu beach, on the way back to the airport, could no leave CA. without seeing the Pacific ocean.

I heard a few people say to Joe C that this was the best BITW yet. I think I have to agree! Joe really does go out and out to make this event better each year. From the food, to the entertainment. Best in the west is setting the standards! Then there is the awards and oh my goodness. The Auction ! At any other event I attend just one high end jet kit would be amazing to see…. So when at BITW we saw 4 of them…. Wow. One of them was $10k's worth. 3 Turbines, radios, servos, fuelling stations, a flight in a P51.. The list just continues. Truly an outstanding event.
For me. what makes it what it is.. is the non stop flying and fun. Its so laid back and all about the flying. I love it. Thanks Joe for the invite. It has been much appreciated.
Regards Al

Thank you to the organizers, Joe C, and all the flightline crew at this ears BITW! The weather was exceptional and some people did fly non stop!!! If flying RC Jets ever becomes an Olympic sport my bets are on Ali for the gold medal. Nice flying bro!
For myself it was just right. Plus not having to turn a screw all week was a real cool deal, just got lucky I guess. Highlight was... My "NorCal Gang", Jack Diaz Sr showing up, Tam showing up, CARF showing up, the "regulars", the Atomic Punks, lotsa happy campers!

Had a ton of fun, a big thank you to Joe C. Nancy, Todd, the BARKS and Ali for all the awesome flights and especially the testing of canopy ejection Great seeing everyone, very happy to provide tech support while I was there, Thanks again BITW.
