Check out Ali's new engine, K-210G

Well simple Peter, the retail price tag is what we modestly appraise the value of our product with precedence set by other manufacturers. MAP is a pricing structure that KingTech always uses, and in this case we simply matched the newly released Merlin 200 and calculated that it still provides us and the factory a reasonably healthy profit margin. This way the customers will have a fair choice for this thrust range of engines.

Update:
Ali's 210 is on its way to the UK while I fired up #005 mounted in the F-22 today, had to do a few adjustments to the ECU, and hope some of the early 210 owners receive the following information:
1) Reduce preheat fuel down to 20 for Diesel, leave it at 35 for kero
2) Run up the engine, get a reading of the full RPM pump PW, add 20% and reduce pump limit to the new value under RUN menu. This will provide a better overall throttle resolution and most importantly, steadier idle and this adjustment applies to all KT engines. on this 005, I had to reduce from 580 down to 288.
3) Once you have pump limit dialed down, you could reduce Acceleration and deceleration delays down close to "0"
The Diesel start up was one of the cleanest, great power and response, can't wait to fly this engine. Also like to thank Ingo from Modell Technik Hausl in Austria, who designed this new fuel pump dedicated to match our engine's performance.

Barry

Crazy that without the m200 anybody who bought the k210 would be overpaying by that much!! But really, it should be cheaper than the m200 being made in china! A world of difference in quality.

Clearly you have an axe to grind and no clue what you are talking about. Please enlighten us as to how the pump and ECU are inferior in any way. BTW a CNC machine does not care where it resides either.
I have been and continue to be a loyal supporter of JetCat but I am under no contract where I cannot use other engines. My experience with Kingtech has been outstanding. I currently own a 100G and 140G. I am planning on getting the 210 as well, as they are that good and the price point makes my wife extremely happy! These Taiwan made engines are a formidable force to be reckoned with and other manufacturers are sitting up and taking notice. Those that don't will soon be closing their doors.
If you don't want one then don't buy it! Just don't come on here spew garbage about a product and engineering that you clearly no nothing about!
and a fellow Canadian to boot! I am embarrassed!

My friend Hank is going to let me get some stick time on his new 210 at Kentucky!! Cant wait. The engine can is the same size but the compressor section inside is larger. He said it ran allot cooler then his 180. Sounds like the new CNC compressor wheel is working out great

Be embarassed, doesn't bother me. No axe to grind, just amazed at what has transpired with the pricing!! I am free to voice my opinion as are you. Yours doesn't bother me but mine clearly does for you.
