In one occation, Shaun was upset with me in a debate in RCU about taking off a F-15 without flaps... as soon I realized it, I apologized and said that I wasn´t my intention to raise his blood pressure for essentially nothing. I am glad I did it, because It is not really important who is right or not in this hobby, but in the way we interact with others.

Hope to Shaun the best and a full recovery....also his kids needs a dad to provide.

Shaun is in a great hospital. My wife had a mitral valve replacement at Scripps in 2000, when we lived in San Diego.

I don't really know Shaun, I did meet him at KY Jets a couple of years ago, I wish him a speed recovery and offer prayers for him.

Sorry to hear about your setback and I pray for a speedy recovery for you. Keep a strong mind and keep a positive attitude, it will get you through this hard time. When you are feeling down, just read some of the posts on RCU as we all know it gets you fired up and blood pressure going, LOL

Prayers sent, my brother went through exactly what you just described that happened to Shaun, almost to the letter. Very scary, he was two weeks in ICU and another two months in extended care. That was a couple years ago now and he is doing just fine but it was tough for a while.
