Many of you know my husband Shaun Evans (also aka Yellow Aircraft) is very sick.
He wanted me to apologize to many of you for letting you emails and calls go unanswered for he last two weeks. During this time, is is admitted in the critical care unit of Scrips Hospital here in San Diego with some very serious gastrointestinal issues. In his case, had some chronic diverticulitis and let it go unproperly treated for too long. Some section of his intestine needed to be removed. That procedure was not totally successful as some leaks developed and began to intoxify his whole body. Now, he has has four addition procedures to include two stints, an irrigation of abscesses and another one I can't understand.
It was horrifying for me because he is my first and only husband, and we have three small children. He appears to be mending now, but I really need to ask for your prayers and wishes. I know Shaun loves this hobby and all the friendships he made during this time. I hope you don't forget him and whisper his name God's ears tonight.

You, Shaun, and your three little ones will be in my prayers as well. I have made many good friends among the scale model airplane fraternity and consider Shaun to be one of them. Get well quickly Shaun!

I sincerely hope that Shaun gets well quickly. I wish him a speedy recovery and that you get your husband and the kid's dad back on deck ASAP. It's a scary thing how quickly people can fall ill. Best wishes to your family.
