Hey Bob
Is that car based on the "Back to the Future Hover Board"?

Just got confirmation of shipment on mine this morning and it is in the DHL system. I'm hoping to see it in the next week or two. Fingers and toes crossed it makes it to me unscathed....It will change hands quite a few times on it's journey!

Definitely Great White today! Half mile vis in snow and -22c, gonna be a long time before I'm smelling burnt kero again but will be worth it I'm sure.

Gary, in Erie we broke an all time low with -18 Deg F (-28 Deg C) on Monday morning, I did the "take a cup of hot water and throw it into the air experiment", it all vaporized immediately.

I like the kero-heater idea!....I'm lucky enough to have an airport job where I live so I get my fix from the jet a burners that we get here. Rich, you should see the hot water trick at -40 or colder. You can hear the water vapor actually freeze! It kinda sounds like more of a sizzle than anything.

False alarm...DHL now sez it is still in HK on shipping hold. Eric is now engaged with DHL and FB to get it on its way.

Da plane! Da Plane! It arrived last night First lookie shows a great jet. The fuselage is HUGE, paint very nice, CF former laminates very neatly installed with nice fillets. The fuselage is amazing light for it's size. The only down is a small crack where the box was placed on end. The very tip of the nose has the seam delaminated about 1/2". Dont think it will be much of an issue as I will hit it with CA and place hysol inside to give it strength. I'll get pix as soon as possible. I have a very busy schedule this weekend. Overall I'd say FB has a big (no pun intended) winner! I'm happy. Bought mine from Eric Clapp. Thanks Eric...great job again!

All I can say is WOW! This thing is awesome. The paint is great, the workmanship is great, the glue joints are great, the gear is great, get my drift? I have spent just a little time building so far as my work schedule take away from play. I do have the aileron servos installed, the gear leak checked (none) and reassembled with locktite. If FB and Eric Clapp continue working together they will blow away all the other ARF manufacturers in quality and looking at the FB catalog included many of their jets now have this type of construction. The wings have tons of carbon fiber around the gear mounts, the formers are all CF laminate, no glue blobs anywhere, the filets are perfect. The hardware looks good and it includes both gear and brake valves. I just cant say enough good about this kit. More pix will be uploaded as I continue building. I hope to have the wings and stabs complete this weekend.

Can someone give me the axle size for the mains? I need to order new wheels with electric brakes and out of the country now. Have been using Intairco brakes, any comments on these or recommendations? Thanks

Most of my brakes and wheels are set up for 1/4 inch or 6.35 mm. Is there an issue with reaming the supports to 6.35 mm to accept my standard brake system?

You could drill the struts to fit the 1/4" axle if you want to change the wheels and brakes.

Thanks, would like to stick with 1/4 inch, thought there was some sort of bearings in the struts so could not drill them out.

It's frustrating not being with the airframe now or for the next 4 weeks. Wanted everything ready to start when I get back in country. Has anyone replaced the air with electric retracts? I have used the Lado 666's and seem to work well for the application if they fit. Thanks and enjoy FL Jets everyone !

The struts are where the axles are mounted so there is just a machined hole, the bearings are in the wheel hubs
